Drugs and being told what to do

We find ourselves in a precarious situation: what was wrong is now right. And what was once confirmed to be right is now labeled wrong. Each day the world turns a little more on its head. Case and point: we exchanged innocent children’s rhymes for obscene lyrics.

This isn’t meant to be a melodramatic discourse. It doesn’t take a degree in history to realize the world has seen greater upheaval and more violent times. The difference between then and now is the rate of change provided by a confusing agenda.

Confusion seems to be the only thing you can depend on. Combined with an unparalleled rate of change has led to an ambivalent future. Each day more than 2.5 quintillion bytes of data is created. Society has become an overflowing stew of data and hysteria. And anyone is welcome to pour more in.

People shout for no other reason than to have their voice heard. And to their delight, a platform has been created for every flavor.

To the creation of books there is no end. But where is all this information leading us? It doesn’t require a strong argument to show it leads further from enlightenment and closer to confusion.

Social forums are fueled by sensationalists of every order, politics is a circus of growing delusion, and the news has been relegated to an out of date, out of touch blow horn.
