It continues
The same thing that was yesterday will be true of today unless you change it. And change doesn’t happen on its own. It demands proactive intervention.
You can throw a rock in a stream and it might disrupt the flow for a moment. But it won’t change the direction unless massive recourse is taken.
I was agitated when I woke up yesterday. It subsided later in the day, but it didn’t go away. Why? Because it was left unresolved. The underlying current of frustration remained.
What I had done was the equivalent of simply throwing a stone into the river of frustration. It slowed the flow for a moment. But the force of the current maintained forward progress.
