Better

It’s 10:01 am on January 1, 2021. I’m ten hours and one minute into the greatest year of my life. I’m aware that’s a bold statement. The past years have provided serious highs hard to top. This year has to compete with 2011, the year I married the girl of my dreams. And 2012, 2016, and 2019 when I became a father for the first, second, and third time. It has to compete with 2017 when I left my employer to go out on my own.

Those were each memorable years with incredible events. But I believe to my core this year will be better than each of them.

Why do I have such confidence you ask.

Because this year, 2021, unlike any year before, I have more knowledge, more insight, more wisdom, and more time spent with my heavenly Father. And because of that I can be a better husband, a better dad, and a better businessman.

I’m prepared to be more understanding in marriage, more gracious in parenting, and more proactive in business.
